Although home sales in December 2008 were 34.7% higher than home sales in December 2007, a full 50.4% were foreclosed on during the past year. San Diego condo buyers are experiencing opportunities that they have not had in a long time. According to MDA Dataquick, the median price of a downtown resale condo was $415,000 during the third quarter of 2008. In November, it dropped to $377,500.
