San Diego’s 26.2 mile, Rock n’ Roll Marathon will be held June 5, 2011 beginning at 6:00 am. It will start at 6th Avenue at Quince Street and will include more than 9 miles of scenic waterfront. The 20,000 runners will be cheered on by more than 100,000 spectators who will line the world’s most spectacular marathon route. Participants and observers alike will be inspired by local bands playing throughout the route with a post race concert located at the Sea World finish line.
